Scientists say:
Gazillions of people are afraid of public speaking. Are you one of them?
My name is Natasha Zolotareva and I train public speakers.
I help people to feel like they know what they are doing up there on the stage.
I wish I could help everyone, as we all would just get better at talking about our passions.
Gazzilion sounds like a big number, doesn’t it? But surely I can help you to get started!

My methodology. How do I train speakers?
Very naturally, my methodology emerged from things I know best.
- 5 years as a journalist left me with a pretty good idea of how to structure information. How to explain complex concepts, introduce facts and make it all sound digestible.
- 4 years in marketing equipped me with ways to relate your message to those receiving it. Be it your customers or your talk listeners, you have to speak their language.
- Finally, having done trainers conferences on 3 continents, gave me a good idea of the universal human language understood around the world. I’m talking about the body language.
Here you go: 3 main pillars that we’ll be focusing on if you work with me: getting into the mind of your audience, working on the information architecture of your content, getting you comfortable on the stage.
What can I help with?

Information Architecture
You are invited to speak and given a topic but don’t quite understand how to make your work sound interesting to others. Let’s work on structuring your content and designing a presentation that will capture attention

Stage Fright & Stage Presence
It’s not the first time you are speaking. You know you have something valuable to say but somehow every time you face the audience your speech does not have as much effect as it had on your friends over a coffee.

Training
skills
You regularly need to deliver presentations to your team or your company. It’s more then just presentation, you need to pass on the skills to people in your team. Training involves public speaking but has a different nature.
Ready to start learning? Choose from two options
Group workshop
If you are more of the “learning in group” type, join a cozy learning circle at one of the workshops. The workshop lasts for 2 full days. On the first day we make a deep dive into speech preparation, structure and speaking styles. The second day is fully dedicated to practice. There are 10 people per workshop at maximum, just to make sure everyone still has time for individual practice and feedback from me and the peers.
Individual coaching
I recommend this option if you are preparing for a talk at a conference, or getting ready to conduct a training. You can choose to focus on talking or teaching, on speech structure or on overcoming stage fright. The key word here is “you can choose”. So, if you feel like you want some personal attention, request a session. I’ll ask you few questions about your expectations and recommend the schedule.
THESE GUYS ENJOYED THEIR TRAINING WITH ME.
Here is what they said
Preparing my speech took about 7 hours. That was where the session we had with Natasha was most helpful. Using her questions and guidance, I managed to objectively select and reject stuffs from my notes into a comprehensible talk. I would say it was well received, based on all the tweets in #RubyConfKL tag. I managed to integrate my sense of humor into the talk… Not only that, I was encouraged to submit this talk in other conferences. All in all, I wouldn’t have achieved this without Natasha’s help.
I have been always afraid to speak on public. The moment I have got a microphone in my hand and had to share anything on stage my heart would stop and my voice would start to tremble. Natasha has helped me through her public speaking workshop series tremendously. Step by step I learned that the crowd is not there to judge or laugh but to listen and as long as I will keep my speech authentic, the fear will fade away slowly. It worked and eventually fear was replaced by confidence!
During preparation for a conference, Natasha showed me that a successful presentation is not just content, but also structure; that for my audience to learn something, I have to take them on a “journey” from the known to the unknown. She’s been really patient but critical with her feedback, and that gave me the confidence to speak at the technical conference I was preparing for. Although I am still far from being the best technical speaker out there, I am definitely improving thanks to her help!
